One Stop Music
One Stop Music is a store that essentially fills all needs for local musicians. The store sells musical instruments/equipment, features an in-house studio, offers basic musical and production lessons, has a CD store, and partners with a local radio station to have exclusive broadcasting time.
Musicians are able to pay for different packages of features allowing them any combination of the following services: studio time with or without a producer, selling their recorded CD in the store, having their recorded single featured on the partner radio station.
This business is ideal for a college town such as Chapel Hill where there are many aspiring artists who do not have the funds or access to more expensive and exclusive recording studios, or the opportunity to so easily gain publicity for their music. It also appeals to many people of college age who wish to learn an instrument or search for new musical talent. College radio stations also offer the ideal opportunity to partner for a time slot.
Resources Needed
Store space, audio engineer, producer, musician, partner radio station.

Chuck Pell: I like the idea, but question the need for hard copies, like CDs. The inventory costs could be an issue. I'd make this as digital as possible, with data flowing as transparently from each stage and back.
